Todd & Yessenia | Married!

Last weekend, I had the pleasure of photographing Todd & Yessenia's wedding. If you've been following my blog, you might remember their engagement photos at Minute Maid Park from last year. (If you missed them, see them here!) 

After Yessenia and her family were ready, we all headed down to the Gazebo for the ceremony.  It was very windy, but allowed for some very cool shots of her veil in the wind! 

Even though the wind worked well for pictures of Yessenia, we decided to do all the formal pictures inside before the ceremony! I don't normally like to showed portraits, but these ones are a lot of fun :)

After a few portraits, the bridal party entered the reception, which included a mariachi band, photo booth fun, and some of the most enthusiastic dancers I have ever seen. I had a really hard time choosing my favorite dancing pictures!

Amy & Roger's Houston Wedding at Live Oak Friends Meeting

This past weekend, I had the pleasure of shooting Amy & Roger's small wedding at Live Oak Friends Meeting, a new venue for me! When I looked up information about the venue beforehand, I loved the concept of circular seating beneath and open sky. In person, it was even more beautiful, especially with the side lighting that emulated the glow of a sunset. I loved Amy's non-traditional navy blue dress and was also very impressed to find out that she put together all of her centerpieces and gift boxes herself :) Congratulations Amy & Roger! Wishing you a lifetime of happiness.
