Josh & Victoria's Hermann Park Engagement Pictures!

I love engagement sessions because it's such a laid back and intimate way of getting to know a couple. Yesterday, I had my engagement session with Josh & Victoria close to sunset at Hermann Park. We were originally supposed to meet last week, but ended up changing the date because of the rain, and I'm so glad we did! Yesterday's weather was absolutely beautiful. Here are a few pictures from our session, starting with my favorite!

Adrian & Aria | Engaged!

Since most couples ask me to choose the venue for their engagement portraits, I am always excited when couples choose their own location for portraits. For me, it's new and exciting, and for the couple, it's something personal. Aria chose to do their engagements in City Centre because it was a place that they liked to hangout. Being fairly new to Houston, I had never been there before, but was a great spot full of life and color! There was a concert going on right in the middle, but we were able to get pictures in fun spots around the concert. I love all the colors and textures in their pictures!

 

   

 

Rachel & Jerry's Hermann Park Mock-Engagement Session

I set up a mock engagement shoot with models Rachel Caudill & Jerry Raines a few days ago to test out a new lens. I normally don't like doing any kind of couple's session with people that have no romantic interest in each other whatsoever, but I was pleasantly surprised by the energy and professionalism between Rachel & Jerry. Rachel even brought a fake engagement ring for the shoot! Also, the new lens is awesome!

 

Mykeri & Eric's Hermann Park Engagement Session

I met Mykeri and Eric this weekend to take their engagement photos in Hermann Park. If I had to choose one word to describe them as a couple, it would definitely be "passion". The way that they look each other reflects the type of passion that you only really see in movies and I didn't even really need to pose them much! Enjoy :)
