Rachel & Jerry's Hermann Park Mock-Engagement Session

I set up a mock engagement shoot with models Rachel Caudill & Jerry Raines a few days ago to test out a new lens. I normally don't like doing any kind of couple's session with people that have no romantic interest in each other whatsoever, but I was pleasantly surprised by the energy and professionalism between Rachel & Jerry. Rachel even brought a fake engagement ring for the shoot! Also, the new lens is awesome!

Wright Family Portraits

Here are a few of my favorite pictures from my family portrait shoot with Sanam, Alex, and baby Aiden! It has been so much fun watching him grow this year. Isn't he so cute??

Pedram & Carmel | Rock the dress!

People have asked me several times where we did this photo shoot, and unfortunately, I can never give a clear answer. A day before the shoot, I asked Pedram & Carmel where they wanted to do these pictures. Pedram mentioned that after he appealed his speeding ticket, he was driving around some of the "rougher" areas in Downtown Houston, and happened to drive by this area. I'm usually up for anything, so I said yes. When we first pulled in, all I saw were lots of homeless people in a polluted park and an old railroad track. However, after a few minutes of walking around, I saw exactly what he picked that spot!

Mykeri & Eric's Hermann Park Engagement Session

I met Mykeri and Eric this weekend to take their engagement photos in Hermann Park. If I had to choose one word to describe them as a couple, it would definitely be "passion". The way that they look each other reflects the type of passion that you only really see in movies and I didn't even really need to pose them much! Enjoy :)

Rachell & Justin | Engaged!

Rachell & Justin picked Market Square Park for their engagement shoot because it's a dog park and they were originally planning to bring their dogs with them. They didn't end up bringing the dogs, but we kept the location. I'm so glad we did because this park had so many colors and textures to work with and I probably would have never found it if Rachell didn't suggest it! On top of that, Rachell brought some fun props for us to work with, which made the shoot much more personal. Can't wait to see the personal touches at their wedding next year!

Keyan & Kendra | Engaged!

I love this set of engagement pictures for multiple reasons. First of all, I love it when couples are creative with their engagement shoots and encourage this with all of my couples. Second of all, we did this shoot at a post office, which was surprisingly an awesome location for engagement pictures. Last of all, this couple was not actually engaged or even mildly interested in each other when we took these pictures, but they're actually dating now. Was my photography so powerful that they found love within my photos? Maybe. If not, I'm still going to pretend :)

(I see something there, don't you? Subconscious flirting.)
